Lightwave Foto exhibited at the Bridal Events of Distinction bridal & wedding show hosted by Austin WeddingDay magazine in San Marcos, Texas this past Sunday. The show was held at the Embassy Suites San Marcos Convention Center & Hotel. We went for impact and drama this year and really wanted to step things up a notch. This is what Lightwave Foto is all about! We challenged other vendors to get creative, put their best foot forward, and really come strong to the show.
I was lucky enough to have Dana Faciane Cameron with me as the new Lightwave Foto Spokesperson. Dana has a wonderful personality, is friendly, outgoing, and she happens to be a walking testimonial for Lightwave Foto. You can find her on the blog marrying her handsome husband, Anthony, at Vintage Villas in August 2009. Dana is a fabulous addition to the Lightwave Foto family and we are blessed to have her.
She and I had a lot of fun meeting with many newly engaged couples, brides, and their moms. Our booth was a big hit and we owe it to Bryan Azar with Ilios Lighting and his crew (Tony and friends) for building the structure and providing the cool red LED lights. These pictures don’t really do it justice. We’ll make some improvements for next year so get ready! Also, I would like thank my fellow wedding photographer friend, Pete Wright, from Richmond, Virginia for the the inspiration and initial idea.
Austin WeddingDay awarded Lightwave Foto the BEST BOOTH award for having had “an amazing, creative, and just totally fantastic booth.” The prize was a very generous discount on our space next year! That’s awesome! We are very grateful for the relationships that we have built over the years. Thanks everyone!
